Description
The role is responsible for designing, engineering, and supporting the execution of HVDC substation systems, including converter stations and AC/DC equipment. Responsibilities include preparing single-line diagrams, layout drawings, equipment layouts, grounding systems, cable routing, vendor reviews, technical reports, and BOQs, while coordinating with OEMs, consultants, and cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with IEC, IEEE, and client specifications. The position requires 4–7 years of experience in substation design and power transmission, familiarity with HVDC technology and protection and control systems, and proficiency with AutoCAD, ETAP, PSCAD, or equivalent tools.
