Penta Research is hiring a full-time Hardware Integration Lab Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama to design and operate a hardware integration laboratory for end-to-end flight-system testing. The role involves building and managing HWIL environments, integrating tactical hardware, sensor emulators, physics simulators, and software simulations, configuring Units Under Test and communication protocols, managing specialized hardware, collaborating with software simulation teams, and documenting test plans and procedures. Candidates need an engineering degree, hardware integration and testing experience, embedded systems and RTOS knowledge, HWIL experience, and an active Secret Clearance; flight-computer, avionics, GNSS, PNT, and tactical hardware experience are preferred.
