Description
AECOM is hiring a Mid-Level Hydraulic Modeling Engineer in Bucharest to analyze, design, and evaluate hydraulic systems for water resources, stormwater, flood risk, and infrastructure projects. The role involves building and verifying sewer network models, performing hydraulic and hydrologic calculations, developing integrated models, supporting project scoping and planning, conducting data collection and calibration/validation, preparing technical reports, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring junior staff. The position requires at least five years of hydraulic modeling and analysis experience, a degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Engineering, and proficiency with InfoWorks ICM and InfoAsset, along with knowledge of SewerGEMS, InfoWorks WS PRO, WaterGEMS, and GIS software. The role follows AECOM’s hybrid working philosophy and requires in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office.
