Blatchford is hiring a Hydraulics Engineer for its multidisciplinary R&D department to design and implement complex actuation systems for prosthetic and orthotic products. The role covers hydraulic, electromechanical, valve, and motor-control solutions; digital simulation, FEA, fatigue, and predictive CFD analysis; concept through certification; CAD geometry and GD&T; risk management under ISO 14971; and technical documentation under ISO 13485, FDA, and MDR requirements. Candidates need a mechanical engineering or related degree, CAD and R&D experience, experience in a safety-critical or highly regulated industry, and extensive hydraulic or electrohydraulic systems experience.
