The Hydroelectric Plant Maintenance Technician independently performs preventative maintenance, monitoring, plant startup and shutdown, equipment installation, troubleshooting, rigging, and routine reporting at a remote hydroelectric project near Portland, Oregon. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of a four-year trade school, and at least one year of experience in electrical, mechanical, operational, or instrumentation work at an industrial facility; additional experience may substitute for the trade school. The position pays $34.71 to $43.39 per hour and is eligible for an annual at-risk compensation incentive plan, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits available.
