Description
The Hydro Power Technician will operate, monitor, and maintain Brookfield's hydroelectric generating stations and storages in Berlin, New Hampshire. Responsibilities include hands-on turbine and generator maintenance, gate changes, unit start-up and shutdown, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting, equipment monitoring, and coordination with contractors. The role requires independent and team work, knowledge of industrial electrical systems and related equipment, MS Office, hydro station regulatory compliance, and OSHA safety standards; hydro experience, electrical repair experience, heavy equipment certificates, and a DOT Class B license are preferred. The position pays $30–$38 per hour with a 5% target bonus.
