Lonestar is hiring a Local Hydro Vac Operator in Calgary, Alberta to operate hydro vac units for daylighting excavation associated with pipeline, construction, utility, and oil terminal work. The role includes trenching, shoring, equipment setup and teardown, inspections, paperwork, and unit maintenance, with approximately 40% annual travel away from home. Applicants need a Class 1 or Class 3 driver’s license, at least one year of commercial driving experience, manual-transmission driving ability, and previous labour-intensive experience; Hydro Vac experience is preferred. The position offers union wages of $37.87–$40.04 per hour based on experience, health benefits after 30 days of full-time employment, and other benefits.
