AECOM is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for its Water business line to design and oversee large-scale mechanical systems for water infrastructure, including water control gates, hoisting systems, actuators, gear systems, and related mechanisms. The role involves 3D modeling, engineering calculations, drawing and vendor-submittal review, multidisciplinary collaboration, technical documentation, proposal support, and occasional site visits. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and 6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience, plus United States professional engineering licensure or the ability to obtain it within two years.
