Description
The Dental Hygiene Assistant will support a dental hygienist by preparing treatment rooms, assisting with oral exams and cleanings, taking and developing dental x-rays, sterilizing instruments and equipment, educating patients, managing records, scheduling appointments, and handling basic administrative tasks. The role requires 1–3 years of experience as a Dental Hygiene Assistant or Dental Assistant, X-ray certification may be required depending on state requirements, and a high school diploma or equivalent; additional Dental Assistant certification is a plus.
