Description
TEKsystems is seeking a Hyper-V Architect/Engineer for a fully onsite, contract-to-hire role in Jersey City, New Jersey. The position designs and engineers enterprise-scale Microsoft Hyper-V virtual infrastructure across global data centers, including failover clustering, live migration, storage, networking, performance optimization, workload management, compliance remediation, and infrastructure automation. The role also evaluates hardware BOMs, maintains .NET-based automation platforms, supports CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoots production issues, and provides technical guidance to other engineers. Candidates need at least five years of infrastructure engineering experience, strong Hyper-V expertise, PowerShell and infrastructure automation skills, and a related technical degree. The pay range is $85.00–$140.00 per hour, with benefits potentially available depending on eligibility and employment length.
