TEKsystems is hiring a contract-to-hire Infrastructure Engineer for a fully onsite role in Jersey City, New Jersey. The position focuses on designing, building, and optimizing enterprise-scale Hyper-V virtualization platforms rather than providing day-to-day production support. Responsibilities include architecture and standards development, failover clustering and live migration, storage and networking solutions, PowerShell and infrastructure-as-code automation, performance and capacity planning, troubleshooting, and technical leadership. Candidates need at least five years of infrastructure or enterprise platform engineering experience, extensive Hyper-V experience, a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and strong knowledge of Windows Server, virtualization, networking, storage, automation, and cloud or hybrid infrastructure.
