Description

The employer is seeking a Hyper-V Virtualization Master / Lead Engineer to provide overall technical leadership for virtualization and hosting platforms for a medium-sized IT-services client in Southern Germany. The role covers Hyper-V architecture, migrations, modernization, standards, capacity and performance management, troubleshooting, automation, security, and mentoring, with strong requirements for HPE enterprise hardware, networking, storage, VMware interoperability, and PowerShell. The position is based in Ingolstadt, Donau, or BAYERN.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: More than 10 years of professional and practical experience in the HR focus area
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with hybrid scenarios, including Azure Arc, Azure Migrate, MABS / MARS, and Site Recovery
Experience in compliance or auditing contexts, including ISO 27001 and BSI baseline protection
Automation with HPE OneView and Redfish, Python or PowerShell, and API integration in CMDB or ITSM
Capacity and cost modeling, including license metrics, deduplication and compression effects, and host or storage tiers
Microsoft Azure and Windows Server certifications, including AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-800/801, with previous MCSA or MCSE experience advantageous
HPE ASE or ATP certifications for Server, Synergy, or OneView, plus Veeam VMCE
CompTIA Security, NSE, or CCNP certification or equivalent
