Description
The Hyperbaric Systems Supervisor oversees the safe operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of hyperbaric chamber systems and supporting equipment at Kuakini Medical Center. The role supervises chamber personnel, coordinates maintenance schedules and facility repairs, ensures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, operates chambers during patient treatment, maintains gas and spare-part inventories, trains chamber operators and other staff, and participates in night and weekend on-call shifts. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, hyperbaric-chamber-related mechanical training, BLS certification, two years of supervisory experience, and four years of military or commercial diving experience; it offers 40 hours per week plus additional on-call shifts and comprehensive health, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
