Description
Southern Company is hiring an I&C Renewables & BESS Site Lead Engineer/Specialist to provide site ownership, call-out, project, technical, and operational support for plant control systems, SCADA systems, and communications infrastructure at renewable and resilient energy facilities. The role may be based at GPC Headquarters in Atlanta or an operational plant site, follows a hybrid schedule of four in-office and one telecommute days, requires some travel, and involves control-system design, troubleshooting, maintenance, commissioning, contractor coordination, documentation, cybersecurity compliance, and remote operations support.
