The Backend Engineer will develop and maintain Java and Spring Boot backend solutions, APIs, microservices, containerized applications, and operational tools for terminal-engine technology. The role includes software development, testing, documentation, requirements gathering, collaboration with Architecture, Data Management, and DevOps teams, and post-release support. It requires at least 2–3 years of software engineering experience, with Java, Spring Boot, databases, build tools, Git, and agile practices emphasized; the work location is Monterrey.
