ServiceNow is hiring an IC5 Senior Staff Engineer for its Data Platform group to architect and deliver large-scale distributed systems, data ingestion pipelines, and Data Lake solutions. The role leads complex technical initiatives, provides engineering leadership, and requires deep expertise in Java, distributed systems, Kafka, Apache Iceberg, Apache Spark, and data formats. It is a flexible hybrid position requiring two days per week at a ServiceNow office in San Francisco, Pleasanton, Santa Clara, or San Diego, California, and is limited to United States citizens, naturalized citizens, or permanent residents. The base pay is $181,200 to $317,100 plus equity, variable compensation, and benefits.
