Description
The Ice Technician Manager will oversee the installation, preparation, maintenance, repair, and event-ready setup of ice surfaces at the Tucson Convention Center and its associated arenas and theaters. The role operates and maintains ice resurfacing and edging equipment, monitors environmental conditions, coordinates ice supplies and equipment maintenance, supports event setup and facilities work, and supervises and directs ice-assistance employees. The position requires a technical college degree in Management or Maintenance Engineering, at least two years of supervisory or management experience in a similar facility, and the ability to work extended, irregular, night, weekend, and holiday hours.
