Description
The ID-LB Cabling Infrastructure Tech supports AWS’s data center infrastructure by installing and testing copper and fiber-optic cabling, labeling and barcoding, using cabling test equipment, troubleshooting network devices, managing materials, and following safety and escalation procedures. The role requires physical work in data centers, including heights, ladders, and occasional tight spaces, along with travel within the work area. Basic qualifications include a technical diploma or equivalent practical experience, 1–2 years of project management or operations planning experience, 1–2 years of physical network infrastructure deployment and troubleshooting experience, 1–2 years of network cabling experience, English communication ability, and the ability to work at heights or use ladders. Preferred qualifications include large-scale data center implementation experience, cabling testing knowledge, layout-drawing ability, and industry-standard certifications.
