The Arc of Anchorage is hiring a full-time Direct Support Professional – Residential Extended Shift to provide person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential and community settings. The role includes developing service plans, preparing meals, coordinating transportation and daily activities, supporting independent living and community participation, maintaining safe and clean environments, administering medications, and communicating with families and team members. The position works three 12-hour shifts per week, with shifts scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and work locations may change based on business needs. Applicants must be located in Alaska, have a high school diploma or GED, a valid Alaska driver license, and meet specified training and clearance requirements.
