Description
Tulip is hiring an Identity & Access Engineering Manager in Somerville, Massachusetts, in a hybrid environment requiring at least three days per week in the office. The role owns the architecture and roadmap for identity and access systems, including SSO, SAML, OIDC federation, SCIM provisioning, multi-tenant account structures, and authorization across AWS and Azure. The manager will lead and grow a small software team, establish quality standards, make IAM and access-policy tradeoffs, and drive AI tooling adoption. The position requires 7+ years of software engineering experience, 3+ years of people management experience, deep IAM and identity-system expertise, and a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. The salary range is $160,000 to $220,000 per year.
