Description
Howmet Aerospace is hiring an FPI Processor (Level I) for its Industrial Gas Turbine group in Hampton, Virginia. The role performs penetrant inspection and defect checks on castings, calibrates and audits FPI test panels, maintains chemical and calibration records, and processes castings according to customer specifications. Training is scheduled for the first shift from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with shift hours to be determined after training. The starting rate is $22.73 per hour, increasing to $25.26 per hour after six months, with a $1.00 per hour shift premium for off shifts. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of related manufacturing experience or training, availability for all shifts and overtime, and legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
