IKEA is hiring co-workers for permanent and temporary positions across Sales, Customer Service, Fulfilment, and Food, with 30–40 hours per fortnight. The roles involve customer assistance, product knowledge, order picking and packing, forklift and fulfilment equipment operation, food preparation, and customer service. Applicants must be available for a rotating roster including day and evening shifts, three of four weekends per month, and the peak trading period from mid-October 2026 to January 2027. The advertised base pay is $29.65 per hour, with additional award and penalty rates, and recruitment includes a video screening and a group assessment centre at IKEA Canberra on 9 October, with roles starting on 19 October.
