Merge Labs is hiring an Image Analysis Software Engineer to build and maintain a shared image-analysis core for brain-computer interface research. The role focuses on image registration, well and imaging-plane localization, object and peak detection, background subtraction, drift correction, response-metric extraction, validation, and integration of Python tools with acquisition and reconstruction workflows. The position requires quantitative image-processing, spatial-reasoning, numerical and signal-processing, and scientific Python skills, with experience developing workflows for other scientists preferred.
