Description
The Imaging Engineer I installs, inspects, troubleshoots, repairs, calibrates, and verifies the performance of medical imaging equipment across radiographic, portable, mammography, ultrasound, bone density, and other specialty areas. The role also performs performance assurance and operation verification, maintains equipment databases and inventory, supports regulatory compliance, manages customer relationships, and coordinates with vendors and subcontractors. An associate degree in a technical or electronics field, equivalent military experience, or two years of equivalent experience is required; six months of medical imaging equipment repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation experience is preferred. The position requires a valid driver's license, variable travel, and the ability to perform physical work involving lifting, climbing, and operating tools.
