KIPP Indy is hiring an Elementary School Teacher to plan and deliver standards-aligned lessons in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies, with a strong focus on foundational literacy. The role involves assessing student performance, using data to inform instruction, providing targeted interventions, supporting diverse learners, collaborating with colleagues and families, and participating in professional development. A valid Indiana teaching license or applicable reciprocity, a bachelor’s degree in elementary education or a related field, strong foundational literacy and child development knowledge, and a criminal background check are required; two years of teaching experience and experience working in diverse, underserved communities are preferred. The starting salary is $50,000, with benefits including health, vision, dental, retirement, paid leave, and other employee programs.
