Description
The DISA Network Engineer will coordinate customer service requests, perform initial testing and acceptance, input network equipment and service data, configure and maintain Cisco and Juniper out-of-band management networks, upgrade network devices, develop IP addressing and project documentation, and support network services such as BGP, OSPF, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, WAN, VPN, VLAN, and VRF. The role requires an active Secret security clearance, DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification, and a bachelor's degree plus three years of recent specialized experience or an associate's degree plus seven years of recent specialized experience. It is a fully onsite contract-to-hire position at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, with pay of $33.00–$38.00 per hour and an anticipated application deadline of September 29, 2026.
