Description
The Import Manager oversees air and ocean import processes, ensures customs and regulatory compliance, completes shipment documentation and transactions, coordinates with vendors, agents, customers, and internal teams, and supervises Import Specialists. The role requires strong organizational, communication, computer, problem-solving, and customer-service skills, along with knowledge of customs, freight forwarding, FDA and OGA transactions, and a high school diploma or GED. A brokerage license and prior global experience are preferred, while 4–7 years of import experience and at least 2 years of supervisory experience are required.
