The Impound Recovery Specialist manages the full impound process, including contacting impound and repair facilities, negotiating fees, determining whether to secure or abandon vehicles, completing state-specific legal documentation, assigning collateral, resolving recovery issues, and routing accounts to collection or abandonment queues. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, research, organization, and decision-making skills, along with a high school diploma or equivalent, Microsoft Office experience, and at least three years of loss mitigation or collections experience.
