Description
The In-Cabin Perception Engineer will develop and improve in-cabin perception software for Toyota’s Driver Monitoring Systems, translating customer and system requirements into software, evaluating implementations, and improving workflows. The role covers C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, functional safety, SOTIF, DRBFM, quality assurance, project delivery, and collaboration with Toyota and suppliers. It requires a relevant engineering degree, at least 2–3 years of software development experience, automotive safety or quality knowledge, Japanese-language collaboration ability, and conversational English.
