Description
The IPQC Inspector monitors quality standards for nearly all manufactured products in a San Jose NVD manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include SMT first-article and in-process inspection of electronic and mechanical components related to PCBA assembly, using magnifying lenses, microscopes, calipers, color pantone, AOI machines, and basic inspection tools; recording inspection data; following assembly procedures; and communicating with other departments. The role requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent, at least 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, English proficiency, and familiarity with ESD, IPC-600/610, and workmanship standards. It is a contracted/temporary position with possible conversion to permanent full-time.
