Description
The Incinerator Operator ensures incinerators are operated efficiently and in compliance with safety, environmental, and Stericycle policies. Responsibilities include controlling waste feed rates and blending, monitoring incinerator and steam, ash, and air pollution control systems, logging operations, unloading and staging waste containers, weighing and scanning waste into SteriWorks, emptying containers, decontaminating reusable containers, operating vehicles and material-handling equipment, and maintaining a clean work area. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience, preferably in a plant environment, and offers $28.00 per hour plus a 10% night-shift premium.
