Description
The Inclusion Specialist supports children with special needs or disabilities in Easterseals Head Start programs by collaborating with educators, families, early intervention providers, and administrators. The role develops inclusive practices, trains staff, assesses individual children, coordinates referrals and evaluations, provides classroom interventions, engages families, monitors program effectiveness, maintains Child Plus documentation, and oversees developmental screenings. The position is based in person at Easterseals Head Start sites in Washington, DC and Maryland.
