Description
The Income Maintenance Caseworker III supports the intake supervisor and intake team by assisting customers with Food and Nutrition Services and Medicaid applications and recertifications, verifying documentation, maintaining NCFAST records, answering customer questions, monitoring case accuracy and compliance, and analyzing caseload and program reports. The role requires knowledge of FNS, Medicaid, federal and state eligibility systems, organizational policies, and the ability to conduct assessments, communicate with agencies and the public, and teach staff. Applicants need two years of caseworker or investigator experience in an income maintenance program or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
