The Incoming Receiving Inspector performs quality assurance inspections of supplier materials, including identification, appraisal, movement, control, and documentation of nonconforming material. The role requires interpreting purchase orders, specifications, and engineering drawings; using measurement and test equipment; completing inspection and traceability reports; applying statistical sampling and root-cause analysis; and coordinating with engineering, procurement, production, and suppliers.
