Taxwire is hiring an Indirect Tax Specialist to execute high-volume US sales-tax and global VAT compliance work, including preparing and filing returns, managing filing calendars, resolving tax-authority issues, completing registrations, maintaining account records, and identifying workflow improvements. The role is hands-on and deadline-driven, with flexible working hours requiring meaningful overlap with US East Coast or West Coast business hours. Candidates should have 3–6 years of relevant accounting or indirect-tax compliance experience, familiarity with US sales-tax filings and tax portals, accounting fundamentals, strong Excel skills, and fluent English. The position may start as a specialist or senior specialist and can progress toward Compliance Team Manager.
