Description
The Individual Assistance Director provides senior-level leadership and technical oversight for disaster response and recovery programs serving State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial government clients and disaster-affected communities. The role advises clients on FEMA Individual Assistance programs and survivor services, leads multidisciplinary project teams, develops operational strategies and staffing models, monitors performance and compliance, coordinates with FEMA and other stakeholders, and supports workforce development. The position requires at least 10 years of FEMA Individual Assistance and disaster recovery experience, extensive management experience, and approximately 25% to 50% travel; compensation is $141,880-$204,242 per year, with the position intended to be filled by 12/15/2026.
