Description
The Industrial Controls Technician Apprentice is a non-career, term apprenticeship role in the Airports Authority’s Trades Apprentice Employment Program. The apprentice learns to install, test, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic building automation, energy management, distributed control, and other industrial control systems; program controllers and variable-frequency drives; and use diagnostic tools, schematics, and work-order systems. The role is based at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport or Washington Dulles International Airport, requires a high school diploma or GED, a state driver’s license, eligibility to work in the United States, and completion of a background investigation, and pays $22.48-$35.59 per month.
