CHAOS Industries is hiring a full-time, on-site Industrial Designer in Los Angeles to define the physical and human-facing design of ruggedized dual-use systems, including sensor platforms, ground-based vehicles, and airborne effectors. The role covers product vision, form factors, ergonomics, prototyping, trade studies, manufacturing and environmental considerations, user research, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, software, UI, marketing, and brand teams. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in industrial design or a related field, at least five years of relevant experience, a shipped-products portfolio, DFMA knowledge, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. The position includes approximately 20% travel for field testing and offers medical, dental, and vision benefits, a base salary of $167,000–$248,000, and additional equity and benefits.
