Description
The Electrician installs, designs, modifies, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs automated industrial control equipment and instrumentation in a production environment. The role covers industrial electrical systems, motors, PLCs, ladder diagrams, AC/DC circuits, sensors, switches, motor controls, safety circuits, preventive maintenance, electrical testing, replacement-component sourcing, and work documentation. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, four years of combined schooling and industrial experience, and preferably an associate degree and Journeyman Electrician License. The position involves physically demanding plant work, including climbing, lifting, working at heights, and exposure to varied weather, dust, noise, and cramped spaces.
