Description
IPG is hiring a Journeyman Electrical/Installation Technician for its Maintenance department at the Marysville Plant. The role is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, preventingively maintaining, and rebuilding plant electrical equipment and machines, including control systems, PLCs, drives, wiring, and power distribution. The technician will also support shutdown activities, communicate equipment changes with production and engineering, develop repair procedures, and train other employees. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a journeyman card in electronics, electrical, or a related trade, or at least six years of relevant experience, along with electrical schematics, industrial wiring, PLC, circuit-board repair, power distribution, and machine-repair skills.
