Description
nVent is hiring an Industrial Engineer to lead the design and optimization of manufacturing systems for its new Lexington, Minnesota facility, which is scheduled to open in 2027. The role focuses on improving safety, productivity, throughput, quality, capacity utilization, material flow, cycle time, and operational costs through Lean methodologies, data-driven analysis, capacity modeling, simulation, ERP and analytics tools, and cross-functional collaboration. The position requires a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field and at least seven years of progressive experience leading complex manufacturing or facility optimization initiatives. Compensation is $89,300 to $165,800, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
