Description
The Double Backer Operator operates and maintains double-backing machinery in a non-durable goods manufacturing environment, monitors machine performance and product quality, performs routine maintenance, reports mechanical issues, maintains production records, and supports safety and continuous-improvement initiatives. The role works the third shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior manufacturing-machinery experience, mechanical aptitude, and attention to safety and detail. Preferred qualifications include experience with double-backing machinery, lean manufacturing knowledge, computer skills, industrial-safety certification, and flexibility for overtime.
