This position involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment and company assets, ensuring safety compliance with Tyson's policies. It includes a 12-month Industrial Maintenance Training Program at the Council Bluffs Case Ready facility, combining half-day work and half-day schooling at Iowa Western Community College. Upon successful completion, employees commit to full-time work in the maintenance department for a minimum of two consecutive years, requiring flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays, weekends, and nights.
