Description
The Mechanic performs unsupervised maintenance on facility equipment during unit turnarounds, including equipment assessment, repairs, scheduled inspections, emergency calls, and documentation. The role requires knowledge of auxiliary equipment, pumps, piping systems, tube bending, piping design, pipefitting, fabrication, and parts procurement, along with safety, communication, organizational, and independent-work skills. The schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch, call-in availability, and reasonable overtime.
