Description
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at Magnera is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy industrial equipment in a nonwoven manufacturing setting. Key responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, and drive systems, troubleshooting mechanical issues, tracking conveyor belts, performing precision shaft and pulley alignments, lubricating components, interpreting blueprints, using CMMS software, responding to breakdowns, safely operating lifting equipment, collaborating with others, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives. The role operates on a night shift following a 2-2-3 schedule, requiring independent work and adherence to safety protocols.
