Description
The Maintenance Technician troubleshoots, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment, including machine tools, fork trucks, vehicles, air compressors, HVAC systems, CNC machines, welders, cranes, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The role also establishes maintenance schedules, maintains inventory, provides technical assistance and training to other departments and maintenance personnel, and coordinates with vendors. It requires applicable trade education or equivalent experience, major-tool material-handling certification, and the ability to work in a noisy, physically demanding shop environment.
