Description
Hood Container Corporation is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for its Grand Rapids, Michigan operation on an evening shift from Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., with a $3 shift premium. The role performs preventive and corrective maintenance on corrugate equipment, troubleshoots electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, drive, motor, gearbox, roller, glue, steam, and control systems, reads schematics and PLC documentation, conducts root-cause analysis, documents work in a CMMS, and partners with operations to improve reliability and uptime. A high school diploma or GED and hands-on maintenance experience are required; corrugated packaging and corrugator experience are preferred. The position requires physical work around moving machinery and may require overtime.
