Description
The Welder/Fabricator performs MIG, TIG, arc, oxy-acetylene, brazing, cutting, and other welding operations on ferrous and nonferrous metals. The role includes reading blueprints, preparing and fitting metal parts, setting up and welding components, maintaining production documentation, inspecting welds and finished products, and following safety procedures. A high school diploma or GED, commercial welding experience, blueprint-reading ability, welding certification, vocational training, and passing the Grant Prideco welding test are required or preferred.
