WEPA is recruiting an apprentice Industrial Mechanic to maintain, monitor, install, convert, and repair paper machines and plants used to produce and process hygienic paper. The 3.5-year apprenticeship combines vocational school and practical training, with the first year in a joint training workshop and later years at the company. The role starts on 1 August 2027 and offers 30 vacation days, 38 hours per week, apprenticeship pay under the Rhineland-Westphalia paper-producing industry collective agreement, development opportunities, health and well-being programs, pension provision, digital learning resources, an iPad, onboarding, and vocational-school travel support.
