The Industrial Mechanic supports production departments by maintaining, servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, fabricating, assembling, and installing plant equipment. Responsibilities include air compressors, hydraulics, pumps, piping, mechanical drives, combustion systems, safety inspections, and work at elevated heights. The role requires passing the Mechanical Accelerated Assessment Test at Apprentice Mechanic B cut score, completing training toward Journeyperson Mechanic B classification, and meeting one of several experience or education pathways. The plant operates 24/7/365 on a 12-hour rotating schedule, with mandatory and voluntary overtime and premium Sunday pay.
